The process for using the Lean Design Simulator involves three steps:
- Create Your Model in Excel. This is done on your local PC. Note that you can also create this date file using Google Sheets, where you save the sheet in Excel format.
- Process Your Model Using The Simulator Engine. Click on the “Choose the input file” button and select your Excel model file. You can then either check in integrity of the file by selecting “Validate”, or simply run the model by clicking on the “Simulate” link.
- Download and Analyze the Results. Once the processing is complete, a second Excel file is created with the simulation results. Download this file by clicking on the file name or on the “Download” link.
Remember that you will need to upload your Excel data file whenever changes are made.
